About Barbara Kline

Barbara Kline is a Certified Business Broker and Senior Advisor with Absolute Investment Realty (www.go-absolute.net), a commercial real estate firm. She has lived in Corrales, NM, for 18 years. Prior to moving into real estate, she provided strategic and technical marketing services to the high-tech industry for more than 35 years.  She has been a real estate investor for more than 30 years and currently owns a number of rental properties in New Mexico and California. She is an angel investor, representing the angels as a managing member of one startup and an advisor to the TVC Dealstream Summit for 8 years A former board member of the New Mexico-Israel Business Exchange, an organization founded to foster R&D and business ties between New Mexico and Israeli companies, she organized a successful trade mission to Israel in 2015.

She has founded numerous companies including Breakthru Communications, a public relations firm specializing in promoting technology and technology companies that she ran for 30 years, a day spa, an events center, and a publishing company. She has worked internationally, spending two years in Brussels as a product manager with Intel and one year as VP of Global Marketing for a Dutch software company.

When she is not working, she likes to attempt to grow vegetables, and wine tastes with her husband, a sommelier. She is an avid reader, has published two non-fiction books of her own, and edited close to 10 books for other authors. She loves to travel and through her international work, she has acquired a “working knowledge” of French and Spanish and can make her way through a newspaper or a basic conversation. Her German is limited to asking for a hotel room and reading menus. She also custom designs jewelry and experiments with cooking onion-free meals for her picky spouse.
